Chalk Back follows Sophie Sandberg, activist and artist, as she raises awareness about street harassment through the use of sidewalk chalk. The story is increasingly relevant because it’s an accessible way for women to feel empowered, fight back and feel connected to each other on a scale never before possible through the utilization of social media. Sandberg ultimately explores what it means to reclaim power in a space that previously took it away.

The film is still undergoing its festival run, with a planned public release in 2023.
